Update #010 - Finished production prototype sneak peek!

Update #010 - Finished production prototype sneak peek!

TLDR - (short version)
Niklas begins testing the unpainted production prototype, Vext's lower section now includes storage and small feet for flexible cable placement. Finally, we're ordering three painted cabinets next week to accelerate learning and provide real-life demonstrations.

Niklas begins using the production prototype
After assembling our unpainted production prototype we've brought it home to Niklas to put it through it's paces. Our goal is to find and fix every and any issue possible, so we're actively taking notes of anything we'd like to change. We'll be posting our progress on social media too!

Quality of life improvements
In addition to being a water tank, the bottom part of Vext now includes a storage space for plant pods, nutrients and other accessories! We've added small feet to the bottom of Vext so that the power cable can go in whatever direction you need it to.

Accelerating production prototype learning
In the beginning of next week we'll order three painted cabinets to accelerate the learning process and create lot's of content for our followers, renders just aren't as good as the real deal!

We have lot's of exciting things on the way that you'll love, so make sure you stay tuned for the next update, let's catch up again in two weeks!

Hey! I can’t reply to you directly and you’ve used a temporary email address so this is the best I can do!

Sadly, these prototypes take quite a long time to be built and delivered (3 weeks!). However, I just checked and we should have them by the 30th of this month!

We’ll keep you updated on our socials once we get them, in the meantime we just posted pictures of the unpainted one on our socials so check it out!

If you scroll a little on our socials you’ll find our early prototypes which we displayed at Viini ja Ruoka messut in 2023, the core concept was there, but the build quality wasn’t up to our standards. There have also been so many improvements that we’ve stopped using them as the data and experience we get from them is not relevant anymore.

Yes, it does buy a lot of greens! However with Vext, you can have all those greens at home, all year round, like having a marketplace at home, but you don’t need to worry about greens going bad and having to throw them away!

Hope this clears up any doubts you’ve had and if you have any questions at all, just send me an email and I’ll do my best!

No news in any social medias of yours about those prototypes. Have you actually built a working one and tested that it works, as you are beginning to deliver them to customers already in June? I mean, putting a decent amount of money into something like this means the customer would like to have some kind of proof that the system actually is functional. Only the one month payment buys an awfully lot of salad and fresh herbs from the marketplace in Hakaniemi :)
